Jonathan Coleman hosts Soulful Saturday on Aug. 7th in Charlotte NC


The city of Charlotte, NC is opening up after the tragic events caused by the wretched worldwide COVID19 Pandemic and many venues are capitalizing on the fact that plenty of people across the nation are ready to become social again and looking for ways and reasons to get out of the house and enjoy life among the crowds (all while being mindful of their health of course).  

On Aug. 7th Saturday at 7 PM Blacktopia gives the people of Charlotte another reason to get out of the house, and enjoy life among the crowd as they present Soulful Saturday, a special event held at The Waterbean Coffee Shop (616 N. Tryon St. Charlotte, NC) starring best selling author and poetess Tammy Thomas reading and performing some of her most famous pieces live and on stage.  The event will also feature additional performances and readings from many other popular figures in the poetry community and African American literary world such as Author Tiffany L. Brown (author of the book Reality Check), The Poet JT and Sunshine Blackrose!    

DJ WolFFF will provide the music and Jonathan Coleman will host/ emcee the highly anticipated event!
